IPS EMPRESS

IPS Empress is an alternative to traditional metal-supported ceramic restorations and is proven to maintain long-term function. IPS Empress, a Lucite-reinforced, pressed ceramic, provides enhanced wear capability similar to that of natural enamel. The crystal formation gives optimal light reflection and refraction for the smile enhancing aesthetics that patients require.

Advantages/ Benefits -- Indications

  • High translucency and natural aesthetics
  • Increased durability and wear compatibility
  • Excellent margin adaptation
  • 15 years of proven clinical success
  • Inlay/Onlay
  • Veneers
  • Full coverage crowns

Cementation: Enamel-dentin adhesive bonding systems

Four ultra-light bleach shades are available for optimal matching to bleached dentition.

IPS Emax CAD

IPS Emax CAD is an exceptional option where a single PFM has been prescribed. It is created using a lithium disilicate glass ceramic block with over 360 MPa in strength. This custom milled all-ceramic alternative will provide superior predictability and consistency as well as increase your productivity. Furthermore, it will never be affected by the fluctuating price of alloy.

Advantages/Benefits -- Indications

  • All-ceramic aesthetics
  • Alternative to PFM
  • Lithium disilicate glass ceramic
  • Inlay/Onlays
  • Precise fit and function
  • Created via-Digital file & standard impression
  • Anterior/posterior crowns
  • Veneers
  • Inlay/Onlays

Cementation: Conventionally cementable

Shade selection can be matched to an existing dentition or comparable ceramic system.

IPS Emax Press

IPS Emax Press is a new all-ceramic material fabricated from lithium disilicate crystals and a glass ceramic overlay. The lithium disilicate glass-ceramic is incredibly dense, providing added strength and stability to bridge spans. A member of the IPS Empress system, the layering material in IPS Emax Press contains a fluorapatite crystalline microstructure that enhances biocompatibility and supports the light dispersing properties similar to those found in natural tooth structure.

Advantages/Benefits -- Indications

  • Natural translucency
  • High strength
  • Wear compatibility
  • Excellent margin adaptation
  • Full coverage crowns
  • 3 unit bridges(up to the 2nd premolar)

Cementation:

Conventionally cemented with glass ionomar cement or Enamel-dentin adhesive bonding system.

3M Lava

3M Lava restorations offer an all-ceramic solution where high strength and an aesthetic look are required. Lava crowns and bridges are created via CAD/CAM technology, designed with presintered blocks of zirconia.
